What is Shoring?
Shoring refers to the system of supports that are used to stabilize a structure, a trench, or soil that is at risk of collapsing. The main purpose of shoring is to support a deep excavation to prevent the soil from caving in, to support an existing structure so that it does not fall while it is temporarily weak, and to support structures adjacent to a construction site.
